Shark Tank Season 3 Episode Six
After a week being cleaned the Tank is now ready for its next visitors… here we go.
Kjetil, the creator of Deliciou, has been in search of his destiny and has been working on his invention — a Vegetarian bacon seasoning. He has entered the Tank seeking $300k for 25% of his company. Steve puts him on the spot and exchanges places with him to give him some perspective… but that doesn’t hold him back. Kjetil tells us that he doesn’t own the IP of the seasoning, so I’m wondering who’s going to take a bacon flavoured bite?
These three mates think they’ve got a product that everyone in the music industry is going to want — a utility strap for guitars that is designed by musicians for musicians. The pitch begins with Mike serenading us before Tony woos us with the facts… and Dave covering the social media aspects and letting us know he’s in conversation with some major international names in the music industry. They’re still in the nucleus phase of their company, with retailers close to fruition I wonder if this product will sell itself in store…

What a wonderful name for a business and the founder is equally elegant. Indi from The Monday Food Co. has created a one-of-a-kind breakfast granola which tastes incredible. Even with a significant sized business, being stoked in 800 stores around Australia, Indi is still mixing every order by hand. She wants to outsource her manufacturing and has come to the Tank asking for 300k for 25% of her company…
What I admire about the entrepreneurs that have the courage to come into the Tank is that they’re really dreaming big. That is what business is all about… and why I set big hairy audacious goals.
