“Sometimes the situation is only a problem because it is looked at in a certain way. Looked at in another way, the right course of action may be so obvious that the problem no longer exists.”
Edward de Bono

When I read this – I started looking at some of the massive projects I have on my plate a different way. Problems are also opportunities. Making tough decisions even if they are not the easiest – in the long term will deliver the best result. There is no power in Hope. Hope is not a strategy.

  1. Hi Naomi,

I really love your blog and I thought this time I must make an effort to leave a comment. The 1st time I saw your site in late 2007, I urged my sister in Perth to get your book and she did. It’s always at my bedside. I have always wanted to start something on my own but to date I haven’t really had the guts ( or should I say probably savings 🙂 ) to do so. People say I’ve got brilliant ideas and I love giving ideas. Just can’t seem to bring myself to JUST DO IT. Just wanted to let you know that I love what you do and it’s really inspiring.

  2. Thanks Miranda, It is great to hear from you – I’ll be writing a bit about turning ideas into a commercial innovation. This might assist.
