Getting Fit to raise money for kids.

I’m quite concerned that I will make a fool of myself in Martin Place on Friday 14th September, because I’m not as fit as I once was. RedBalloon has entered a team (as well as sponsored) the Foxtel Laps to raise money for the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute.

Now there are many benefits – we get to do something as a team – The RedBallooners are wanting to raise $10,000. We get to focus on fitness. Plus we are doing something to support children.

If you have not heard of The Murdoch Childrens Research Institute it conducts essential research into childhood illness and helps sick kids both here in Australia and around the world.

It should be great fun – well lots of laughs anyway. I am expecting to run 50 laps.

Ok, so this is where I ask you to put your hand in your pocket and sponsor me. (All done very easily online)

Sponsor the RedBalloon team by sponsoring me and make a donation with your credit card. Once I’ve completed the challenge, you’ll receive an email detailing the number of laps I ran, and the amount of your sponsorship.

I promise I will post an image of me running the treadmill in Martin Place (ugh) anyway you’ll be supporting the MCRI to work together for healthier kids and a healthier future.

  • good on you for getting in behind a good cause. i think that events like this that groups from a workplace can join in are awesome for teambuilding. I tried for about 20 mins to make a donation Naomi but i couldnt get the process to work. Perhaps I can send the money to your New Zealand branch instead??
