This story brought tears to my eyes…Thankyou for saying thankyou

‘My father turned 84 yrs on 17th October 2006 and I wanted to give him a special present. As he loves anything to do with planes and he had often commented that he would love to fly on a DC 3 one day, I decided that this would be the perfect surprise. My father was unaware of the booking and even though the drive from the Central Coast commenced very early and took some time to get to the airfield, he was “over the moon” when he realised his birthday present. My partner and I decided to accompany him on the flight and it will be one of the best memories I have shared with my father. He hasn’t stopped talking about flying low at 500ft along the northern beaches and taking in the beautiful coastline, the smooth ride and the friendly staff.
